The Antique and Classic Boat Society’s national board of directors will hold their closed-door meeting today inside the museum, but tomorrow they will cruise the straits of the Tchefuncte River in, fittingly so, antique water crafts provided by several members of the Bayou Chapter of the ACBS.
Alan Fortier, president of the Bayou Chapter, said there will be about 20 board members, some from as far away as Canada, in town to take the tour of the Tchefuncte tomorrow morning on several classic crafts, including his 1947 Jeffrey, which sports a triple cockpit.
