Mudbugs car show Sunday

The Mudbugs Car Show will take place on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at 2504 Old Spanish Trail in Slidell.

The event is a benefit for the St. Tammany Toys for Tots and Chance Kilmer, an 11-year old who has been diagnosed with Leukemia and is being treated at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. Chase Bank has an account set up for donations for Kilmer.

The show also features motorcycles, hot rods, 4X4s, dragsters, muscle cars and choppers. There is a $30 entry fee for the show vehicles.

Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Pictures with Clydesdales and chariots, owned by Pearl River resident and former NFL player Ed Tillison, are available. Also offered will be a car magazine cover shot by Darlene Caronna. T-shirts will also be sold.

The show will have lunch plates with gumbo, jambalaya and more for $5.
