The Covington Boys and Girls Club is in need of sponsors for its summer camp program. The camp runs from June 2 through July 25, eight weeks, and provides a nutritious lunch to campers as well as character building and recreation programs for youth 6-18 years old.

Cost of the camp is $200 for the summer with an additional $10 for early bird camp starting at 7:30 a.m.

Sports, fitness and recreational activities are designed to strengthen character, leadership development, health and life skills to help develop youth into responsible, productive and caring citizens, according to Boys and Girls Club spokesman Jerome “Bo” Elzy.
