David K. Repath, 28, walked away from a drug rehab program in Covington and is wanted for violating his parole, according to Capt. Jack West, Covington Police Department spokesman.

West said there are also warrants for Repath’s arrest for stealing checks from Faith Bible Church.

He is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 145 pounds with brown hair, hazel eyes and a possible goatee. He has been seen driving a white Dodge Ram truck with a Georgia license plate and silver colored toolbox. He has also been seen driving a U-Haul van.

West said Repath has attempted to rob vehicles and houses. If residents are home, he has used various ploys to gain entrance to the house including grass cutting, wanting to dump dirt on their property, and acting as if he knows the residents to gain entrance to their homes, according to West.

West said Repath has an extensive criminal record including burglary of an inhabited dwelling, theft, possession of stolen property, forgery and distribution and possession of drugs.

West said that anyone in contact with him should call the Covington Police Department at 892-8500 immediately.
