St. Tammany Parish School Board approves bond issue, assigns projects

The St. Tammany Parish School Board recently approved the use of a number of firms for projects being funded through a recently approved bond issue.

For Type I-A projects, the board OKed: Verges Rome Architects for the additions and renovations to Abita Springs Elementary School; MSH Architects, LLC in association with CircleStudio for additions and renovations to Abney Elementary School; Piazza Architectural Planning for renovations for Bayou Lacombe Middle School; MSH Architects for additions to Boyet Junior High School; Wink Design Group, LLC for HVAC replacement to Carolyn Park Middle School; Fauntleroy & Latham Architects, APC for renovations and additions to Fifth Ward Junior High School; Verges Rome Architects for renovation and additions to Folsom Junior High School; Holly & Smith Architects, APC for replacement of two original wings at Fontainebleau Junior High School; Gasaway-Gasaway-Bankston Architects for renovations to Harrison Curriculum Center; Wink Design Group, LLC for additions to Lee Road Junior High School; Holly & Smith Architects for additions to Mandeville High School; Eskew+Dumez+Ripple in association with Piazza Architectural Planned for the new advanced studies high school; Gasaway-Gasaway-Bankston Architects for the new elementary school in the Madisonville area; Fauntleroy & Latham Architects, APC for renovation to Pitcher Junior High School; Duplantis Design Group, PC for additions to Whispering Forest Elementary School; and the firm of Argus Architecture-Engineering, LLC for renovations to Woodlake Elementary .

The following firms were also approved for the Type I-B Design Service Rotation Pool: J. V. Burkes & Associates, Inc.; Dammon Engineering; Drake Engineering, Inc.; Duplantis Design Group, PC; Fauntleroy & Latham Architects, APC; Gasaway-Gasaway-Bankston; Holly & Smith Architects, APC; Krens, LaSalle, Lemieux Consultants, Inc.; KVS Architecture & Associates; Kyle Associates, LLC; Richard C. Lambert Consultants, LLC; McHugh, Kelly & Associates, Inc.; MSH Architects, LLC; Perez, APC; Brett Petry Architect; Piazza Architecture Planning; Pinnacle Engineering, LLC; Ritter Consulting Engineers, Ltd.; Verges Rome Architects; and Wink Design Group, LLC.

The following were approved as Type II-A/II-B Technical Services for surveying: Arpenteur Consultants, LLC; BFM Corp., LLC; J. V. Burkes & Associates, Inc.; GSE Associates, Inc.; Krebs, LaSalle, LeMieux Consultants, Inc.; Kelly McHugh & Associates, Inc.; Turner Surveys, LLC; and Wink Design Group, LLC.

For Geotechnical Services, the following firms were approved: Ardaman & Associates, Inc.; Eustis Engineering, LLC; and Professional Service Industries, Inc.

For materials testing, the following firms were approved: Beta Testing & Inspection; Eustis Engineering, LLC; Professional Service Industries, Inc. and Southern Earth Sciences, Inc.
