From yoga to pilates to art classes, the only public recreation park in the small village has a full plate with Louisiana-sized servings heaped on it.
First on the agenda is the youth art exhibit, Masterpieces by Me.

“It’s a lot of fun and good for the children,” Prestenback said.
Family and friends are invited to attend the event Wednesday from 5-6 p.m.
Also on tap are yoga classes that will be given in six-week sessions on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 and Monday mornings from 9 to 10. Registration is $60.
Pilates classes will also be hosted at the park on Thursdays from 9-10 a.m. Registration is $60 for a six-week session.
The park will also hold adult and youth art classes on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 and 12:30 to 2:30 respectively.
A youth class will be offered on Wednesdays from 4- 5:30 p.m. Cost for each session is $65.
With football season around the corner, the park is gearing up and holding registration for the football, cheerleading, baseball and softball seasons for boys and girls, ages 5 to 12, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park’s office. Birth certificates are required.
