The New Orleans Hornets have announced they will be taking deposits for six partial plans for the 2008-09 season.

By placing a $100 per seat deposit by Aug. 21, fans will have access to attend the exclusive partial plan select-a-seat event Aug. 22-23 at the New Orleans Arena where they can select their actual seats for games.

“Our partial plan options give our fans some exciting choices when purchasing their packages, but also ensures they have guaranteed tickets for what promises to be another exciting season,” said Hornets Vice President of Ticket Sales and Services Bill Bailey. “With 10,000 full season seats already sold, fans interested in purchasing ticket packages should act now to ensure they get the best seats available for the 2008-09 season.”

Partial plans include two half-season packages and four 10-game plans. Fans can select the 10-Game Weekend Plan with games only on the weekends, the 10-Game Weeknight Plan which includes games only on weeknights, the 10-Game Superstar Plan that will allow fans to see stars like the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, Utah’s Deron Williams and Orlando’s Dwight Howard, and the 10-Game Contenders Plan which includes some of the top teams in the Eastern and Western Conferences.

Each plan includes a dedicated account executive who will service the account and ensure a personalized Hornets experience. Partial plan holders also have priority in purchasing playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

Partial plans start as low as $14 per seat.

Fans can reserve their place in line for the select-a-seat event by placing their deposit online at Hornets.com or by calling 504-525-HOOP.
