Crawford, who was prounounced dead on the scene by Deputy Coroner Angel Galloway of the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office, was not wearing a seatbelt.

Both Dier and her passenger, Jared Dier, 18, also of Franklinton, sustained severe injuries. The two were transported by Acadian Ambulance to St. Tammany Parish Hospital, with Dier airlifted by helicopter. Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
