The Four!Kids Foundation annual golf banquet was held Aug. 7 at the New Orleans Riverside Hilton with 220 attendees taking part. Nine college scholarships, totaling $27,000, were presented to local area golfers.

Northlake Christian School graduate Sam Scheibal takes his passion for sports and his athleticism to Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., as he has signed his national letter of intent to play baseball for the Majors. Scheibal, a two-sport athlete for the Wolverines was also a starting forward on the basketball team.

Jennifer Pujol, 24, in her first year at Archbishop Hannan, has been named the Lady Hawks head volleyball coach to replace Leila Benoit, who will now devote her full time as the Campus Minister. The Lady Hawks (7-9) last season finished third in District 7-V play with a 6-4 record.
