Couple celebrates 60 years

Clarence and Juanita Guilott celebrated their 60th anniversary on July 4 with a reception at the home of their children, Sue and Jammie Singletary of Bush.

The reception was well attended by over 170 family members and friends. The couple are members of Hebron Baptist Church of Bush and their pastor, the Rev. Sam Greer, attended the ceremony and blessed their marriage.

Also in attendance were the Guilotts’ five children and their families: Howard and Alice Guilott of Orange, Texas; Glenda and James Sharp of Denham Springs; Sandra and Bruce Knight of Enon; Sue and Jammie Singletary of Bush; and Wayne and Carol Guilott of Bush.

The couple has 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Over the years the pair has traveled throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. They have resided in Bush for 43 years.
