Sandbag locations open in parish

Five sandbag stations are open in St. Tammany Parish today until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in preparation for Hurricane Gustav:

They are:

'€¢ Covington Barn, 1305 N. Florida St., Covington

'€¢ Keller Barn, 63131 Fish Hatchery Rd., Lacombe

'€¢ Koop Drive, 21411 Koop Drive, Mandeville (under Tammany Trace water tower)

'€¢ Airport Road Barn, 34783 Grantham College Rd., Slidell

'€¢ Fritchie Barn, 63119 Hwy 1090, Pearl River

In addition, the city of Mandeville has opened an additional sandbag location at 1100 Mandeville High Blvd. This location will be open the same hours as the St. Tammany Parish locations, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., starting Saturday.
