Northshore business conference planned

The Southeastern Louisiana University Small Business Development Center is hosting a north shore business conference on “National Strategies for a Changing Economy.” Additional sponsors of the conference include the Louisiana Small Business Development Center, I-12 Alliance, and St. Tammany East and West Chambers of Commerce.

Scheduled for Sept. 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Northshore Harbor Center in Slidell, the conference features national speakers on topics such as increasing profits and sales, growing business and finding capital, and streamlining operations.

“We have a wonderful group of speakers from across the country,” said Sandy Summers, SBDC assistant director. “Representatives from VSN Strategies, Rider & Associates, iFranchise Group, and First National Bankers Bank will be on hand to lend their expertise to participants.”

Registration is $30 and includes breakfast and lunch. Registration is available online at selu.edu/sbdc or at 549-3831.
