Throngs of parents with their children attended the free LifePrint event sponsored by Brian Harris Autoplex in Slidell Saturday.

Bonnie and Lindsey Grubb with LifePrint used the latest and greatest in fingerprinting technology, Biometrics, to scan children’s fingerprints onto a disk. Then they digitally took their photo and placed it on the same disk, which was handed to parents along with a free DNA kit and journal. The information was saved in case of emergency situations involving their child, particularly if they go missing.

Councilwoman Kim Harbison was on site volunteering her time to help with the function.
