Early voting for Oct. 4 ends Saturday

Early voting ends Saturday for the Oct. 4 election, which includes the congressional first party primary and a myriad of candidates for justice of the peace, five new district judges and millage propositions postponed because of Hurricane Gustav.

Early voters can cast ballots between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Registrar of Voters office at the 22nd Judicial Court at 701 N. Columbia St. in Covington or in Slidell at 61134 Military Road.
