Clean-up Fest planned Sunday

Members of Keep Slidell Beautiful will team up with Palmetto’s on the Bayou for the second semi-annual Fall Bayou Clean-Up Fest from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Live music will take place on three stages. Performers include the Joe Krown Trio featuring Walter “Wolfman” Washington and Russell Batiste, the Jumpin’ Johnny Sansonne Band, Johnny J & the Hitmen, the Coco Robicheaux Band, the J.B. Elston Band, the Mark Hessler Band, the John Brinson Band, Invisible Cowboy, Lynn Drury and Kim Carson, the Cajun Trio with Cajun Dancers, Papa Phenilla and Reed Lightfoot with Delta 88.

The festival will be at the Heritage Park boat launch. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 on the day of the event.

Five percent of ticket proceeds will go to the Save Our Lake Foundation for wetlands restoration.
