The St. Tammany Parish Business and Career Solutions Centers are joining forces to better meet the needs of businesses and job seekers.

The center located at 19376 N. Third St. in Covington has closed and moved into the 316 Howze Beach Road location, just behind Delgado Community College in Slidell.

The center’s mobile unit will also be traveling around catering to St. Tammany residents who are unable to travel to Slidell.

The center offers help with unemployment opportunities by helping applicants create and develop resumes, job training and ultimately job placement.

Any resident of St. Tammany and surrounding parishes can visit the center.

Hours of the new center are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center closes at 3 p.m. on Thursdays.
