Republican Women Club lunch benefits Children's Advocacy Center Hope House

A turquoise elephant was among the jewelry modeled at the Mandeville Republican Women Club Passion for Fashion luncheon and fashion show.

Casual and dressy casual outfits were modeled during the fete at Tchefuncte Country Club, including antiques chapeaux provided by Cynthia Sicard and Vickie Dodson. A raffle was held and hat stands sold for $15, all to help the Children’s Advocacy Center Hope House.

Notable Republican women were models for the event featuring couturiere by Chico’s. Included in that number were Maura Donahue, Julie Quinn, Trilby Lenfant, Kristin McLaren, Susan Strain, Celeste Falconer, Connie Simon and Betty Viener.

Patrons of the event included Louisiana state Sen. Jack Donahue and his wife Maura; Linda Begue; N’tini’s Restaurant; Boudreaux’s Jewelers; James Napier; Beau Chene Country Club; Franco’s O Spa; Mandeville Republican Women.

Sponsors of the event included Marty Gould, Anne Montgomery, Eric Skrmetta and Carol Keay.

Chairperson of the event was Linda Begue.
