Slidell man arrested for rape of 19-year-old woman By Erik SanzenbachSt. Tammany News Slidell police arrested a Slidell man Sept. 25 for allegedly raping a 19-year-old woman at a party on Sept. 13. Police spokesman Capt. Kevin Foltz said Reginal Hall, 20, 3939 Arrowwood Drive, Slidell, was charged with one count of rape after the victim filed charges against him on the morning of Sept. 13. Foltz said the victim had been at a party at a friend’s house. Around 2:30 a.m., the victim fell asleep on the sofa. When she woke up, she claimed Hall was on top of her, allegedly raping her. Foltz said the girl managed to push Hall away, run into the kitchen and then outside, where she and Hall got into a verbal argument. The victim went to Slidell police headquarters that morning and filed a complaint against Hall. Police issued a warrant for Hall’s arrest on Sept. 24. Foltz said the suspect must have heard about the warrant, because he turned himself in to police the next day. Foltz said Hall was booked and taken to St. Tammany Parish Jail. |
