Money, blood donations sought for newborn baby'��s
upcoming heart surgeries

An account has been opened to assist the family of St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Deputy J.R. Taylor, who’s son, Owen Taylor, was born Oct. 3 with a rare congenital heart condition known as Shone’s Syndrome.

In addition to that, he also has an atrial septal defect.

He was scheduled to undergo the first of multiple heart surgeries on Wednesday.

The account is open at Capital One, with funds to be used to assist the family with accruing medical costs. Blood and platelet donations in his name are also greatly needed.
