Parish Councilman Stefancik to host meeting for District 11 constituents

Parish Councilman Steve Stefancik will host his monthly meeting with constituents at 7 p.m. today in the library of Bayou Woods Elementary School off Carroll Road in Slidell.

The following items will be discussed.

• An ordinance authorizing a one-year extension of the current contract with Acadian Ambulance as the sole provider of emergency and non-emergency ambulance services in the unincorporated areas of St. Tammany Parish.

• A resolution establishing the adjusted millage rate for the year 2008.

• Proposed changes in District 11 to the Parish Unified Development Code Ordinance and Comprehensive Rezoning activity.

• Status of the property tax board of adjustment and review.

• Any other items of interest or concern to District 11 constituents.
