Week 3 Hoopla winners selected

Three St. Tammany News readers won the third round of “Holiday Hoopla” this week.

Kathryn Kelley of Slidell won $125, Jane Rauch of Mandeville won $75 and Risa Chatelain of Mandeville won $50.

“Holiday Hoopla” is a four-week program sponsored by nine St. Tammany Parish businesses and is designed to encourage people to shop locally as they get a head start on holiday shopping.

Shoppers — although no purchase is necessary to participate — can go to one of several merchants and register for weekly prizes. At the end of the four weeks, all registrations will be placed in a hopper, and one winner will be drawn for a grand prize award of $500.

Winners of each prize will select which participating merchant they want their prize from, and they will be given a gift card, good only at that merchant.

While there is no limit of entries a person can submit, they must be on original forms — no copies will be accepted. An entry blank may be found inside today’s paper or at participating merchants.

Participating merchants include Scardina Refrigeration, Advantage Financial, Lawn & Saw, Wabi Sabi, Poole Lumber Co., Garrett Honda, Unfinished Furniture, Cycle Shop and Slidell Easy Pay.
