Hannan led by 11 before holding off a comeback. Eddie Laine had nine points, and Chad Boihem had eight. FHS defeats East St. John Fontainebleau downed the East St. John Wildcats, 79-66, Tuesday behind Taylor Hanby’s 24 points at the Kennel in the Bulldogs’ season opener. Quin Cooper added 21 points, clicking on 13-of-14 free throws. Jason Green tallied 19 points. Jamie McKnight and Spencer Ardis sparked the Bulldog defense. MHS edges Grace King Mandeville’s Timmy Tryforos hit the game-winning shot on a put back with just 10.2 seconds remaining Monday to lead MHS to a 63-61 road victory over Grace King. Jordane Ganapamo topped the Skippers with a game-high 28 points, followed by Zach Adema with 12. Sean Zemke tallied nine points with seven rebounds. Ben Condon pulled down 13 rebounds, scored five points with three blocks. Josh Bono and Tyler Bonura added seven points each. Archbishop Hannan hit just 2-of-26 three-point attempts. |
