Donate to Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West simply by buying groceries.

The Winn-Dixie Community Pals program is partnering with Habitat to raise money that will help put less fortunate people into homes of their own.

The program is simple. Go to www.habitatstw.org and look under the About Us link. There you’ll find the News Releases link that will lead you to the Winn-Dixie activation coupon page.

Print the coupon and have it scanned along with your Customer Reward Card the next trip you make to any area Winn-Dixie.

Scanning the coupon will activate your card to begin collecting points for Habitat for every purchase you make using your reward card.

The points will transfer to dollars for Habitat.

You can also pick up the special coupons at the Habitat ReStore at 1400 North Lane in Mandeville or at the Home Store on 919 N. Columbia St. in Covington.

Communications Coordinator Wendy Scheider said the program will run indefinitely.
