Salmen’s Smith scores 37 in win

Salmen’s Rica Smith scored 37 points in leading her team to an 81-54 victory over Higgins at home Monday. Salmen, which led 47-16 at halftime, is 5-5. Higgins is 10-5.

Chelsie James scored 23 points for the Lady Spartans, while Samara Dingiswayo put up 12.

Hannan boys fall

to Franklinton

Archbishop Hannan was on the short end of a 92-40 score Saturday, falling to the Franklinton Demons. Franklinton placed six players in double figures led by Alex Billings and Curtis Jackson with 13 points each.

Josh Bono and Eddie Laine led Hannan with 11 points each. Pat Munger finished with 10 points and hauled in eight rebounds for the Hawks. Hannan is 2-3 on the season.
