HBA awards ceremony for sales, marketing

The St. Tammany/Washington Parish Home Builders Association held its annual Sales and Marketing Council Awards recently.

The theme of the event was “SAMs goes to the Oscars” and was a huge success.

The SAM Awards celebrate outstanding builders, developers and real estate related affiliates for excellence in sales and marketing. St. Tammany and Washington Parish Home Builder members, associates and affiliates had the opportunity to enter in a variety of categories and the winners were selected by a panel of judges from neighboring parishes.

The winners were:

Builders – Terra Bella, Best Brochure; Summit Homes, Best Web site; Conbeth, Best Print Advertising; RBO Custom Homes, Best Model Home and Best Overall Marketing Campaign.

Developers – Summit Homes-Nickel Creek, Community of the Year, and Money Hill for Best Attention to the Environment.

Real Estate Affiliated Services – Resource Bank, Best Financial Services; Delta Title, Best Title Services; and Pelican Appraisers for Best Appraisal Services.

Associate Members – Floorco for Best Showroom; Floorco’s Gerard Lohfink, Best Salesperson; Glass Contracting’s David Glass, Most Reliable; and Bevolo Gas & Electric Lights’ John Greco, Best Craftsman.

Residential Design – DesignTech Residential Planners, Summit Homes-Nickel Creek, Best Attached Design; and Ron Lee Homes for Best Detached Design.

Sales and Realtor/Builder – Kenny Elliott, Person of the Year; Hearthstone Home’s Ron and Nancy Lee, Sales Team of the Year. Donny Jenkins was presented the SAM Award as an outstanding SMC Member.
