Northshore all-stars square off against Southshore
Senior high school football players take center stage in the Louisiana Superdome at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon representing the Northshore and the Southshore in the Joe Johnson Lake Pontchartrain All-Star Classic. Admission is $9 with tickets being sold the day of the game at the Superdome ticket office.

St. Scholastica Academy senior Kelly Gautreaux went on a scoring tear Tuesday night. Gautreaux polished off four goals during the first 21 minutes of the district match against the Covington’s Lady Lions sparking the Doves to a convincing 12-0 road victory.

FHS beats St. Paul'€™s for first
Two St. Tammany Parish soccer powerhouses squared off Friday night at Hunter Stadium in Covington in a district battle for sole possession of first place. Fontainebleau (11-0-1) came out the victor edging the St. Paul’s Wolves 1-0 on Blake Forest’s goal in the 60th minute from just inside the 18 after the squads played to a scoreless first half.
