SLT hosts patron party, announces next season

Guests at the annual Slidell Little Theatre Patron Party on April 5 were treated to a special performance of “Little Musical,” an original production by John Giraud and Scott Sauber starring Sarah Folkins, as well as the announcement of its upcoming season.

According to the SLT board of directors, the 2009-2010 season opens Aug. 14 with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic “The Sound of Music,” followed by Neil Simon’s comedy “Rumors,” which will open Oct. 9. Rounding out the season are “Godspell,” Nov. 27; William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” Jan. 15; “The Children’s Hour,” March 5; and “Ragtime,” April 23.

Slidell Little Theatre is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs.
