Alan David Petree, 57, of Slidell, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 3, 2009.

He was the beloved husband of Pamela Petree; daddy of Wendi Petree Hightower, Michael Alan Petree, Adam David Petree, Matthew Kyle Petree and Jacob Todd Petree; son of Roberta Petree and the late Roy Petree; and brother of Gene Petree, Susan Cantu and Brian Petree. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Brock Alan Hightower, Ava Isabelle Petree, Addison Olivia Petree, Jaxon Bryce Petree and Michael James Petree.

A native of San Antonio and a resident of Slidell for the past 11 years, Alan was a hard working manager for CocaCola Enterprises, who loved his family,hunting, fishing and the great outdoors.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. W. (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.
