Covington police arrested Callender Feb. 9, 2009, because he was allegedly in possession of a Mossberg 500AT 12-gauge shotgun that had been modified. The U.S. Attorney’s Office said the firearm was not registered to Callender as was required by law.
Callender was convicted of domestic violence Feb. 6, 2005 in the 22nd Judicial District Court in St. Tammany Parish.

If convicted on the two federal gun charges, Callender could face up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, plus three years of supervised release at the end of the prison term.

That's a new one on me. People get arrested all the time for things they didn't do so I give people the benefit of the doubt. In other words, there are plenty of SCUMBAGS that have never been arrested before and vice-versa. I hope this guy cleans up his act. "
