Attention senior citizens and caregivers from West and East St. Tammany Parish, the 10th annual Senior Resource Festival will be held July 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at The Castine Center, 63350 Pelican Drive, Mandeville. This year’s theme is “Seniors Balancing into the Future.”

The event is free to seniors and caregivers and open to senior citizens within the community as well as caregivers that would like to learn more about senior resources. The festival will include more than 80 booths, containing senior-related information and services, such as health screenings, senior living options, and nutritional and financial information. Music will be provided by D.J. Rockin’ Ron.

Seniors and caregivers that plan on attending must register in advance by calling COAST at 892-0377, by July 10 to reserve lunch. A complimentary lunch will be provided for senior citizens 60 years and older, plus their caregivers.

Sponsors are needed. If you have a senior-related business and would be interested in participating as a vendor and if you want sponsorship details, please contact Mary Toti at 892-0377. E-mail any requests or questions to events@coastseniors.org

CLECO donated a limited amount of fans to COAST. Seniors age 60 and above that bring in a CLECO bill and identification will receive a fan while supplies last, at the COAST Senior Resource Festival.
