Parish economy still ahead of the curve

Despite a 1.3 percent increase in unemployment, and a 0.2 percent decline in retail sales, St. Tammany Parish’s economy is still doing better than the national economy, according to the first quarter trends report, released by the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation last week.
