Margaret Doxey Dale, 89, of Slidell, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Reid Dale; beloved mother of Bettysue Dale Bulkin; daughter of the late Ora and Elizabeth Doxley of Norfolk, Va.; and she is also survived by one grandson, Charles David Bulkin.

Dale was a native of Norfolk, a resident of Slidell since 1976 and a member of First United Methodist Church in Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. W. (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Donations to: First United Methodist Church of Slidell, or St. Catherines Hospice 2701 Louisiana Highway 51, LaPlace, LA 70068, are preferred, in lieu of flowers.
