Aline Augusta Lauter Falk, 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.

She was the beloved mother of Linda Stalder and her husband Steve, Kay Will and her husband Kenny and Norman Falk II and his wife Cindy; and grandmother “Mimi” to Kelli, Marnie, Mike, Brett, Mark, Aaron, Megan, Samantha and Summer. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman A. Falk; her mother, Adeline Aline McMichael Lauter; her father, Gustav George Lauter; and a brother, Edwin M. Lauter.

Falk was native of Amite and a resident of Covington for the past two years. She was a very creative and talented artist who won numerous awards for her oil paintings and ceramics in the New Orleans area.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend graveside services at 11 a.m. today at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4800 Airline Highway, Metairie. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter, No. 1 Humane Way, Jefferson, LA 70123 (504) 736-6111. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to E.J.
