Bernard Joseph Goldberg passed away suddenly Sunday, June 28, 2009. He was born in New Jersey to the late Benjamin and Bernice Beirock Goldberg, lived in West Palm Beach, Fla., for more than 10 years and has been a resident of Mandeville since 2005. The beloved husband of Patricia Doriety Goldberg, he is survived by his precious daughter, Amy Bernicella Goldberg; one sister, Diana R. Paul; her husband Michael; and three nieces, Amanda, Rachael and Michelle Paul.

Driven by his love for the Lord and a giving spirit, Bernie paved a path of testament for every life he touched.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services at 3 p.m. Thursday at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the children so close to Bernie’s heart through the charity, Gospel for Asia, 1800 Golden Trail Court, Carrollton, TX 75010.
