Betty Lou Scott, 50, of Pearl River passed away Sunday June 28, 2009.

She was a member of the Red Hot Mama’s Club and Ladies Auxiliary at the Pearl River Veterans of Foreign Wars.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Dale Pawless; three daughters, Christina Pawless, Alicia Scott and Melissa Scott; her parents Marilyn and Darrel Mullowy; two brothers, Jeff and Steve; and four sisters, JoAnn, Mary, Debbie and Sharon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max D. Scott Jr.

Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Committal service is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Hickory Memorial Gardens in Pearl River.
