For everyone’s safety, get the shot
Well, after last year’s hysteria over the H1N1, or swine flu, it is now time to put the rubber to the road. As we enter flu season, the federal government has been sending out its new H1N1 vaccine shots to the states. The state of Louisiana is scheduled to receive 79,000 doses of the vaccine. Those people considered at-risk, that is elderly, the very young, and those with respiratory conditions will get the shots first. Then school children will be able to get inoculated sometime in November.
