Jeffery Lee Peterson, 36, of Covington, passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Gail Peterson; daughter, Shermaine Richardson of Covington; four sons, Quincy Richardson, Jamie Richarson, Sherman Richardson and Trevor Duncan, all of Covington. He is also survived by six sisters, Betty James of Folsom, Gloria Peterson, Floria Peterson, Cynthia Peterson, Lynette Peterson and Likisha Hopkins, all of Covington; three brothers, Billy Peterson Lee Curtis Peterson and Jerome Peterson, all of Covington; parents, Deloris Peterson and Lee Curtis Davison, both of Covington; and six grandchildren.

The funeral service was yesterday with the Rev. James Winston officiating. Richardson Funeral Home of St. Tammany is in charge of arrangements.

Sheriff and Slidell police on the hunt for armed robber

The armed robber, who is suspected of two armed robberies last week on Brownswitch Road and Robert Boulevard in Slidell, is also suspected for the robbery of the Blockbuster Video store at the corner of Gause Boulevard and Military Road Wednesday afternoon.
