HAMMELL

Patricia “Pat” Ann Hammell passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at 72. She was a native of New Jersey and a resident of New Orleans for over 30 years. After Hurricane Katrina, Hammell made her home in Covington. She was a retired commercial interior designer. Pat was an artist and woodcarver who received her inspiration from nature.

She was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Mandeville. In the last months of her life, she enjoyed attending the Deborah class at First Baptist Church, Covington.

She is survived by Robert and Marilyn Hammell of Milton, Fla.; Loretta Rivers and the Rivers Family of Union, Miss.; Curt and Ann Davenport and Scott Weber of the Seattle area.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward Hammell and Elinor Kipp Hammell.
