STATEN

Ellis “Cuteness” Staten passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at 92. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II.

He was the beloved husband of the late Stella Staten; son of the late Arie Bicken and James Staten; loving brother of Alberta Staten Laurant and the late Leana Staten Armstrong, Minnie Lee Staten Jackson and Vivian Staten Thompson. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephew and other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the graveside service in Mandeville City Cemetery tomorrow at 11 a.m.
