DEHORITY

Shirley Payne DeHority, 89, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. She was a native of Pawnee and resident of Slidell.

She was the beloved wife of the late William Albert DeHority II; mother of Shirley Frances Morrison and Karen Ruth Ferraro; daughter of the late Pearl and James Payne; sister of Patricia Hill and the late Charlotte Lowe; grandmother of Susan M. Galeas, Eric Eugene Firestone and Lisha Cathleen Barre; and great-grandmother of Taylar Larkin Galeas.

The family will hold a private memorial service. Arrangements are by Bagnell & Son Funeral Home of Covington.
