Evelyn Gerri Thornhill, 74, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Thornhill; loving mother of Sharon Jenkins and John Thornhill Jr.; daughter of the late Ida Mae Fulcher Gibbs and William Merrill Gibbs and sister of the late William “Billy” Gibbs. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Brittany, Austin and Kyndil.

Thornhill was a resident of Covington for the past 40 years and a member of Shepherd’s Care.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at noon Monday at Shepherd’s Care, 20115 Highway 1081, Covington, with visitation from 10 a.m. to noon. Interment will follow in Shepherd’s Fold Church Cemetery. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Sign the online guest book at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
