TURNER

John Dallas Turner, 80, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009.

He was the beloved father of Denise Turner Campagne Varnado and Greg Turner; loving grandfather to Matt Campagne, Danielle Glenn, Jonathan Turner, Leslie Turner, Kristine Campagne and Jennifer Campagne.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlette Thomas Turner; his mother, Effie Morgan Turner and father, James Dallas Turner.

He was a native of Epps, a resident of Franklin-ton, and a former resident of Covington. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services were held yesterday at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., Covington. Interment was in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. Sign the online guest book at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
