Hoover; sister of Darlene Cullen, Cindy Smith and Robert “Buddy” Hoover. She is also survived by eight grandchildren. Lydia was employed by Robert’s Hardware.

Claude was born in New Orleans on Aug. 27, 1922, to the late Claude Duval Crider Sr., and Annie Morse Crider. He was married to Betty Jo McMahon on Sept. 2, 1949 in Beaumont, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas, receiving a bachelor of science degree in applied mathematics.
