Betty Ann Ireland Madore, 75, of Slidell, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at her home in Slidell. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald F. Madore; mother of Rhonda M. Scott and daughter of the late Orin Ireland and Mable Turner Ireland. She is also survived by her grandson, Chris D. Merz and wife Paula of Slidell and two great-grandchildren, Christopher R. Merz and Julia E. Merz.

She was a native of Dixmont, Maine, and a resident of Slidell since 1965. Betty was a longtime former hairstylist and cosmetologist in the Slidell area.

A graveside service and interment were held Friday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell. Arrangements by Honaker Funeral Home, Inc., Slidell.
