Phillip Wayne Roy of Slidell passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009.

He was the beloved husband of the late Linda Nix Roy; father of Robert Roy (Kristin) and stepfather of Vikki Parker; son of Donald E. Roy and Florence B. Roy; brother of Donna Roy Terry (Mike), Judith Elaine Roy Bourgeois (Gerry), Barry J. Roy (Wende) and the late Steven J. Roy. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Ashley Roy and numerous nieces, nephews and his close friends, Barbara Ferguson and her son LeGrande Ferguson.

Phillip was born April 15, 1961, and graduated from Holy Redeemer High School in Lacombe. He was a resident of Slidell for most of his life. He was a former employee of Roy Bingo, Inc.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. W. (in the Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment is in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
