Do you do anything special in the classroom to get through to your students? My classroom is more like a “really big family.” We talk to each other all the time during share time about problems or positive things that have happened. We also realize that we all have strengths and weaknesses, which helps us to understand each others actions. I would have to say that the craziest thing that’s happened to me while teaching was when I was “mummy-wrapped.” This Halloween, my students enjoyed wrapping me in toilet paper to represent a mummy. Then they walked me through the halls to the other classrooms. They were so proud that they were able to wrap their teacher as a mummy.
