KNIGHT

James “Jimmy” Earl Knight, 64, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009.

He was the beloved husband of Donna Webb Knight; loving father to Gregory Knight and Jeffery Knight (Jennifer); stepfather of Shawn Courrege (Donna) and Deborah Ougel (Louis); son of Velma Tisdale Knight; and brother of Charles Knight, Dolores Knight and Janet K. Penton. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Guidry; father, William Henry Knight; and a brother Leon Knight. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Covington.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend his funeral service at 1 p.m. tomorrow at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington. A wake will be from 6-9 p.m. today, and visitation will resume on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
