Alene Marie “Ali” Pullens passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans.

She is survived by her parent, Trisha Lynn Penton Pullens and Dewayne Pullens; two sisters, Katie and Whitney Pullens; and her grandparents, Teddy and Lavera Penton, Don and Connie Havens and Mr. and Mrs. Hershell Pullens Sr.

She is also survived by great-grandparents, Edith Mae Wilson and Lillian Ruth Pullens.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River. Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow in the New Palestine Cemetery, Picayune, Miss.

Sheriff and Slidell police on the hunt for armed robber

The armed robber, who is suspected of two armed robberies last week on Brownswitch Road and Robert Boulevard in Slidell, is also suspected for the robbery of the Blockbuster Video store at the corner of Gause Boulevard and Military Road Wednesday afternoon.
