Archbishop Shaw
Covington midfielder Ronald Garay turned in a career night with a hat trick and delivered three assists Tuesday to spark the Lions to a 6-0 home season opening victory over Archbishop Shaw.
Austin Inman added a goal and two assists, while Zach Kidder and Tyler Plumb added one goal each to the Lions’ attack.
Stephen Baudean was named the Lions’ top defender.
CHS coach James Inman said his team moved the ball nicely with good passing and good communication.
“We are a very young team that Ronald (Garay) makes better. Making other players better, I believe, is the mark of a truly exceptional player,” coach Inman said.
