Feds sentence man for dealing drugs

U.S. Attorney Jim Letten said Friday that Ryan Brown, 23 of St. Tammany Parish was sentenced to 30 months in jail for selling crack cocaine Thursday by U.S. District Judge Lance Afirick. According to court records, Brown pled guilty July 10, 2009 for two drug sales. He admitted that he sold 19.2 grams of crack cocaine, Mar. 24, 2007, and he also admitted to selling 6 grams of crack Nov. 6, 2007. Both sales occurred in Covington.
